World Expert Says Transgenderism Is ‘Mental Disorder,’ Sex Changes Are ‘Biologically Impossible,’ And The Industry Will Collapse Like Eugenics Did
Writing in 2015, former psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital Dr. Paul McHugh said that transgenderism is a “mental disorder.” It’s a condition that merits treatment, but a “sex change” is a biological impossibility, a fact that still stands today.
Dr. McHugh also said that anyone promoting sexual reassignment surgery is collaborating and promoting a mental disorder. He called transgenderism a “disorder of assumption,” that an individuals maleness or femaleness is different than how nature intended — or God, if you will.

Year later, Dr. McHugh said he was “amazed at the amount of power and weaponry that it’s gotten behind it now, with the government and law and even medical organizations getting behind it, but I’m absolutely convinced that this is folly and it’s going to collapse, just as the eugenics folly collapsed.”

And for good reason. We know this movement prays upon our most vulnerable and important: children. “We don’t know all the pressures that are behind this gender dysphoria epidemic that we’re having, but we do have a lot of reasons for believing that social pressures on vulnerable and suggestible young people are at play there,” Dr. McHugh noted in 2021.
