Turn To God For Guidance This July 4th, And Help America Move Forward In His Vision
Foundations of Truth shared an inspiring blog post, Saturday, which we felt gave the perfect message for all Christians and Americans this Independence Day. We just wanted to add in a little extra!
FoT started their post by quoting Romans 8:5, which teaches that “those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires, but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.” This July 4, America needs to remember that we are a nation built on the Spirit, and our work to undo the cravings of the flesh is actually working incredibly well.

America seems to be facing one crisis after another. Whether its the economy, attacks against children and families, a corrupt governmental leadership, even more corrupt institutions, a border collapse, or more, every day feels like a fight to protect God’s land from total destruction. “As our nation celebrates Independence Day, it is a time of national pride and a time for us to reflect on how best to move forward with a shared vision for our country,” FoT wrote in their post. And they’re right, but we’re already well on the way.

Every time the powers of darkness attempt to shatter His Light, We The People fight back. Whether it be through massive revivals or enormous baptism events, or through the success of Christian entertainment and athletics, there are always more people wanting to walk with God than away from Him.
