A report from the Washington Stand, Tuesday, detailed how German couple Uwe and Hannelore Romeike are being deported over choosing to homeschool their children.

The Romeike family fled Germany in 2008 after authorities accused them of violating a Nazi-era anti-homeschooling law that would have seen the state remove their children from their home. After a hefty battle with the U.S. Supreme Court, the couple were allowed to relocate to the U.S. under the Obama-Biden Administration.

But when the couple showed up for a routine immigration check-in, they were told they had four weeks to pack up their things and leave the U.S. They were being deported.

Horrific Actions Under The Biden Administration

“America used to be a free country, and people from all over the world immigrated here to seek freedom,” Uwe Romeike told Fox News. “We hope and believe there will be a change.” But as of Tuesday evening, the U.S. was still planning to deport the family back to a country where they risk their children being removed over the state’s aggression on indoctrination.

In Germany, the Romeike’s were threatened over their faith, and their children were pushed into a school that taught anti-Christian sentiments. “Their personality literally changed,” Uwe Romeike told a local Tennessee outlet. “We wanted to help them to grow up in what they believed in, and what we believe in, and not get basically indoctrinated with something we don’t want.”

Adolf Hitler Banned Homeschooling

In 1938, Hitler banned homeschooling in Germany. All children were sent to public schools, and the rights of parents were utterly dismissed.

If the Romeike’s return to Germany, they will likely be fined and face prison time for choosing to take care of their children without the state.
