This Is What America’s Leading Conservative Governor Is Focusing On

Florida lawmakers met on Monday to start the state’s takeover of a district self governed by Walt Disney World, to discuss the ongoing crisis of illegal immigration, and to advance a national agenda on election fraud.

The meeting is seen as one to help promote Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and his national policies ahead of a hotly anticipated White House run in 2024, which may be announced as soon as 2023, according to Newsmax. Much of the discussion reportedly focused on DeSantis’s war with Disney, who openly opposed his bill that would stop children from being exposed to sexual content in Kindergarten through third grade, but also set a tone for other major issues plaguing the American public.

“Another proposal expected to pass during the session would enhance the ability of the statewide prosecutor to bring election crime charges, a move meant to strengthen the power of the governor’s new election police force,” Newsmax noted in their reportage. DeSantis urged lawmakers in 2022 to create a separate law enforcement unit that would focus exclusively on election crimes, arguably one of the largest concerns for Americans. Democrats and even many establishment Republicans ignore this crisis, despite it being such a priority for the sanctity of our nation.
