Republican Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley said Thursday that whistleblowers have implied that individuals employed at the FBI’s Washington Field Office closed the alleged criminal probe into First Son Hunter Biden “improperly,” according to a report from Breitbart.

Grassley’s statement was made to the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, where he relayed the suggestions from Senate whistleblowers about the FBI’s supposed investigation into the Biden family — one of many governmental investigations and focuses on the Biden’s and their behavior both in and out of elected government office. He suggested that FBI personnel at the field office “improperly ordered information to be closed by the FBI related to Hunter Biden’s potential criminal conduct in October 2020 — just before the election — even though it was verified or verifiable,” Breitbart noted. This information, it can be assumed, relates to the infamous Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

The younger Biden is currently under investigation in relation to tax and firearm violations. It’s unclear whether the Department of Justice will be able to press charges against him in relation to alleged crimes, evidence of which is “voluminous” thanks to the laptop.
