Conservatives Pick Up Huge Victory Despite Supreme Court Loss

While Democrats managed to win the Wisconsin Supreme Court in a statewide election, Tuesday, the GOP wrangled huge public safety and welfare wins, according to Fox News.

As a result of the tireless work by Wisconsin Republicans, judges in the state can finally consider past convictions for violent crimes when setting bail for an alleged re-offender. The decision was made by voters in Wisconsin who are tired of having repeat offenders released from police custody despite their history of violence.

Judges will also be able to set conditions to protect public safety if they decide to release someone prior to their trial. Nearly 1.2 million voters decided upon the reform, a huge win for themselves and the Republican party pushing for safety.

What an incredible win for the voters of Wisconsin!

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Wisconsin pushed voters to reject the reform. It’s unclear why the ACLU is pro-violence against Wisconsin’s general public.

“Wisconsin’s reliance on cash bail has perpetuated a two-tiered system of justice: one for the wealthy and one for the rest of us,” the ACLU said on their website. “These referendum questions propose amendments to the Wisconsin Constitution that would exacerbate inequities in the state’s cash bail system and raise significant concerns under the due process clause of the Fifth Amendment and the excessive bail prohibition under the Eighth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.”

Again, it is unclear why the ACLU are attempting to defend potentially violent criminals instead of their victims. As a majority of the victims of violent crimes are women, minorities, and children, it seems like the ACLU doesn’t care about any of these demographics.

Welfare Wins!

More than 1.4 million voters (80% of voters) decided on Tuesday that “able-bodied childless adults” should “be required to look for work in order to receive taxpayer-funded welfare benefits.” (LEARN MORE: Watch This Video To Learn More About The Border Crisis And Rise In Organized Crime)

Democrats hated the referendum, Fox News noted. Wisconsin Senate Minority Leader Melissa Agard, a Democrat, said that the reform “attacks low-income Wisconsinities.” But without the reform, these so-called low-income members of the public would remain as such instead of joining the workforce and starting on the career ladder. Typically, this process leads to financial independence.

Why should Wisconsinites who already work have to pay for people who can work, but choose not to?
