‘God Who Gave Us Life, Gave Us Liberty’: Gabbard’s Powerful Reminder For Modern America
Former Democratic Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard shared powerful words, Tuesday, from Thomas Jefferson during a speech in North Charleston, South Carolina.
“‘God who gave us life gave us Liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God?'” Gabbard quoted. She continued, noting that the words from Jefferson are as relevant today as they were when he first said them.
“To recognize each other as children of God is to appreciate that we, every single one of us, belongs to God and to no one else,” Gabbard noted. “This is truly the foundation and the social construct that our founder built for us.”

“Any political party that tries to erase God from every facet of our public life can’ be trusted to protect those inalienable God-given rights enshrined in the Constitution,” Gabbard stated. None of those politicians trying to remove God she be allowed to gain power in this country.
Within her speech, Gabbard clearly showed how progressive politicians are trying to divide us based upon the color of our skin. She argued that this division only serve the political gains of these politicians. In doing so, it does not serve the American people.
American politicians are elected to serve the American people.
