Sudanese Lab Seized By Militants Filled With Biohazard Material Was Funded By Fauci, CDC, Others, Writer Claims
A report published Wednesday outlined how Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Department of Defense sent financial support to Sudan’s National Public Health Laboratory, which recently fell into the control of violent militants.
The World Health Organization described the situation as “extreme dangerous” as the lab contains samples of polio, measles, and cholera, all of which could potentially be released into public should the instability and violence continue in the African nation.

The CDC published a pamphlet in August 2022 that reads: “In May 2018, CDC supported establishment of the first viral load monitoring facility at South Sudan’s National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL).”
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), the agency previously run by Fauci, also funded a research paper related to Sudan’s NPHL. “Dried Blood Spots for Measuring Vibrio cholerae-specific Immune Responses,” focused on cholera in Sudan. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also co-funded the study.
The report also noted that United States Agency for International Development helped fun laboratory research in South Sudan. It is unclear whether the author of the original article is aware that South Sudan is a different nation to Sudan, or whether this was a typo.
