Former President Donald Trump said Sunday that his potential pick for future Vice President could be one of his opponents in the race for the White House in 2024.

Trump told Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures that businessman Vivek Ramaswamy or Republican South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott could easily be his running mate for 2024, according to the Epoch Times. “I think Vivek has done a very good job, frankly. I think some others have done a good job,” Trump told Maria Bartiromo. “You have some good people on the stage actually. I think you have some very talented people … I’ve been impressed by some of them. Some of them I’m very friendly with, actually.”

‘Good Potential Cabinet Members’

Trump is currently well ahead of all other candidates when it comes to his polls. One dataset cited by the outlet noted that Trump makes up 53% of support, and his well ahead of Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, who had 20.6% on the same poll.
