‘The Chosen’ Reveals Hidden Secrets Within The Show

Did you know that the set of “The Chosen” is riddled with hidden Bible verses?

Neither did we, until they were revealed in an article by Christian Headlines. Art department coordinator for the show, B.J. Forman, told the outlet that construction workers were provided with black marker pens and allowed to write their favorite verses all over the unfinished walls of the set.

Some of the verses were written in English, others in Spanish. “Before we put the finishes” on the set, Forman said, “we sent the army of workers that we had building the city and armed them each with a giant black magic marker and said, ‘Go in there and graffiti the place – write down your favorite Scripture, your favorite inspirational words, your favorite verse. … So they took that idea and ran with it to every other unfinished room within the city,” Forman  told the outlet. Workers Didn’t Realize Where They Were

A few of the construction and other set workers for “The Chosen” didn’t realize they were working on the hit show until someone told them. “They were hired to do a job like they would build a Kroger,” he said. “Our stonemasons would come in and they just knew they were putting up a wall but they didn’t know what for. … It turns out many of them were fans of the show that we weren’t even aware of. They were just here for a job and it turns out that were here for a purpose.”

When is the next season of “The Chosen” coming out?

Filming for season four of “The Chosen” wrapped in early August, and its expected to be released in early 2024. “The Chosen” is available via Angel Studio’s website, as well as Netflix, Roku, Tubi, Peacock, and more.
