Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was kicked off the House Freedom Caucus, members confirmed Tuesday to Politico.

“A vote was taken to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from the House Freedom Caucus for some of the things she’s done,” Republican Maryland Rep. Andy Harris told the outlet. When asked specifically if MTG was removed, Harris replied, “as far as I know, that is the way it is.”

Part of the group’s reason for removing MTG was aa fight she got into with Rep. Lauren Boebert, Politico noted. Apparently MTG referred to Boebert using the phrase “little b****,” and later used other curse words to describe the fight and the Colorado rep.

“I think the way she referred to a fellow member was probably not the way we expect our members to refer to other fellow, especially female, members,” Harris continued in a later statement.

MTG’s removal is the first time the group has ever formally voted to remove a member. While MTG focused on her support for her constituents in northern Georgia, she did not comment on the dispute.
