Hit movie “Jesus Revolution” became Number One spot on Amazon’s best-sellers chart, according to a report published Monday by Christian Headlines.

“Jesus Revolution,” the faith-based hit about one of America’s largest revival movements, has already broken a slew of records. It’s grossed more than $50 million in the box office, and is now charting at the top of Amazon’s “Best Sellers in Movies & TV.”

Beating Out The Mainstream Competition … Again

“Jesus Revolution” is doing better on Amazon than so many mainstream titles, including “Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” and the new “Super Mario Bros. Movie,” Christian Headlines noted. Technically, “Jesus Revolution” hold the top two spots on the chart, as the DVD and Blu-ray versions of the film are listed as #1 and #2. “I think people are hungry in our nation spiritually,” Pastor Greg Laurie, whom the movie is based upon, wrote on Twitter. “here are many indications of this across the board. One of them is the interest in this film about the last great spiritual awakening that swept our nation called the Jesus Movement. … I think a lot of people heard about this film in the theaters and want to see for themselves.
