San Francisco, California, is currently reporting an average of three deaths per day due to fentanyl poisonings and overdoses, as the rest of the country sees a marked increase in addiction and accidental deaths.

The Bay Area city has been under a “state of emergency” due to fentanyl since 2020, the Washington Stand reported. But this is not a situation limited to the golden state. In New York City, a one-year-old child was killed due to drug exposure at a day care center, while others were hospitalized.

While the situation is still under investigation, fentanyl was found at the scene. “I’m very sorry, but one of the things that my child care inspectors are not trained to do is look for fentanyl. But maybe we need to,” NYC health commissioner Ashwin Vasan said following the tragedy.

Fentanyl Comes From China Via Our Open Borders

The flow of fentanyl into the U.S. is predominantly through our open southern border with Mexico. Chinese drug developers continue to manufacture fentanyl in extreme quantities, and then ship the product to drug cartels. In turn, the cartels bring the lethal narcotic into the U.S., and massacre hundreds of thousands of unsuspecting Americans.
