CDC Adds COVID-19 Vaccine To Official Immunization Schedule For Infants And Children

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention added COVID-19 vaccines to its list of official child and adolescent immunization schedule in early February, Fox News reports. While the CDC can’t mandate vaccines, many schools use its recommendations to develop their requirements.

On their official “parent friendly” vaccine schedule page, the CDC suggests that infants as young as 6-months-old should be receiving their first dose of the hotly disputed, still experimental drug. Overall, the CDC recommends children receive at least three doses. The first two should be spaced four to eight weeks apart, and a booster should be administered eight weeks later. Given the absolute lack of scientific evidence toward both the efficacy of any COVID-19 vaccine in preventing the spread of the virus and the consequences of its use — which are reportedly far worse than contracting the original virus — this decision by the CDC further undermines their validity as a governmental organization.
