MillionVoices founder John Graves talked to His Glory host Pastor Dave Scarlett on his show “Take Five” about the importance of owning the problems plaguing America.

While speaking with Pastor Dave, Graves compared our current moment in social history with the story from Ezekiel 16:49-50, which reads in the New International Version Bible as “Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned.”

“The last thing we need to do is” let the problems of our present time go by our wayside because we in the West are overfed, and many Churches act arrogantly and unconcerned about the evil among them.

Graves also compared this moment to the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, saying that you can’t just “live in the Shire and pretend like everything is going to be okay.” Speaking out against the atrocities and violence plaguing our great country needs to happen today, and it needs to happen now.
