Video Of 7th Grader Calling Out His State’s Public Schools Is The Best Thing You’ll See All Day

Do you want to smile today? Well, just check out this video published in mid-April by Middleborough Educational Television featuring an absolutely brilliant 7th grader!

We’ll let the video speak for itself, but here’s what else we can tell you:

The video was taken on April 13 at the Middleborough Public School’s committee meeting, located in Middleboro, Massachusetts’s. The 7th grader is Liam Morrison, who attends a school in the local area, according to The Washington Stand.

For those who can’t listen to the video, here’s what Liam had to say about being sent home from school for arguably the most ridiculous reason ever:

“I never thought the shirt I wore to school on March 21 would lead me to speak with you today,” Liam explained, saying he was removed from his gym class, “to sit down with two adults for what turned out to be a very uncomfortable talk. I was told that people were complaining about the words on my shirt, that my shirt was making some students feel unsafe.”

What did the shirt say?

“What did my shirt say? Five simple words: ‘There are only two genders,’” he continued. “Nothing harmful. Nothing threatening. Just a statement I believe to be a fact.” (LEARN MORE: World Expert Says Transgenderism Is ‘Mental Disorder,’ Sex Changes Are ‘Biologically Impossible,’ And The Industry Will Collapse Like Eugenics Did)

“When I nicely told them that I didn’t want to do that, they called my father. Thankfully, my dad supported my decisions [and] came to pick me up.” Apparently some members of the school’s personnel tried to justify their ridiculous biases to Liam, who was having none of it.

“I was told that this shirt was a disruption to learning,” Liam noted. “No one got up and stormed out of class. No one burst into tears. I’m sure I would have noticed if they had. I experience disruptions to my learning every day. Kids acting out in class are a disruption, yet nothing is done. Why do the rules apply to one yet not another?” (LEARN MORE: Powerful Group Starts Campaign To Destroy Anti-Parent Legislation)

Liam claims he was told that the shirt “targeted a protected class.” Really? “Who is this protected class? Are their feelings more important than my rights? I don’t complain when I see pride flags and diversity posters hung throughout the school. Do you know why? Because others have a right to their beliefs just as I do.”

If Children Understand This, Why Can’t Politicians?

Liam understood that age t he age of 12, he has his own political opinions and a right to express those opinions, “even at school,” he explained to the grown ups.

“This right is called the First Amendment to the Constitution”

Schools don’t have a right to penalize your children for their free speech. They have a right to protect it. Remind them today.
