“Jesus Revolution” is heading to Netflix on July 31st!
The news was shared on Twitter by Pastor Greg Laurie, whom the film is based upon. If you’ve not seen if already, you are in for a real treat. Starring Kelsey Grammer (“Frasier”) and Jonathan Roumie (“The Chosen”), the story chronicles a true story of the counterculture hippie movement, faith, conservative politics, and the juxtapositions that define both then and our current moment in history as they come together into one cohesive American culture.
We Need A ‘Jesus Revolution’ Today
Netflix’s decision to share the hit movie on its website is a huge step in the right direction for our Third Great Awakening. As Pastor Laurie wrote in his Tweet about the news, there are millions of new people who will now get to see just how much Jesus saved the lives of countless kids and adults struggling through the darkness of the 1960s and 1970s.
As we enter the Third Great Awakening, faith is our one constant point in the storm to help us navigate through to the light. Perhaps this work of entertainment will help ignite a new moment in our history, where the nation returns to the love of God.
