Former President Donald Trump was booked into an Atlanta area jail on Thursday night, after which he raised more than $7.1 million dollars, Fox News reported.

The Trump Campaign confirmed to Fox News, Saturday, that they’ve raised nearly $20 million in the last three weeks, $7.1 million of which was collected after his mugshot was released on Thursday night. The highest grossing day of the Trump campaign came Friday, with some $4.18 million brought in to support the former president’s run at the White House for 2024.

“This is a very sad day for America,” Trump said after he left Fulton County Sheriff’s Office after his voluntary surrender. “We have every right — every single right — to challenge an election we think is dishonest,” he continued.
