A memo was sent from the White House to “editorial leadership at U.S. news and media organizations” on September 12, 2023, directing the press on how to scrutinize the House Republican’s impeachment against President Joe Biden.

The memo is one of the most chilling you’ll read, and show the obvious media corruption led by the White House. It tells media leadership not just that the impeachment is baseless, but lists a slew of Republicans who they claim has uncovered nothing to suggest the impeachment is legally sound.

“It’s time for the media to ramp up its scrutiny of House Republicans for opening an impeachment inquiry based on lies,” Special Assistant to the President and Senior Adviser Ian Sams wrote in bold. “When even House Republican members are admitting that there is simply no evidence that Joe Biden did anything wrong, much less impeachable, that should set off alarm bells for news organizations.”

Did Not Provide Any Evidence To The Contrary

Why is the White House trying to manipulate the media with such an obvious stunt? The answer to this question is unknown, but should be noted in the history books as a moment when the leaders of this country took a page from the books of dictators.

“House Republican leaders should be held accountable for the fact that they are lurching toward impeachment over allegations that are not only unfounded but, in virtually all cases, have been actively disproven – including by witnesses and documents in their own investigations, as well as years-old congressional probes and even the former President’s first impeachment inquiry,” the memo continues. Again, it does not provide any data for how anything in the impeachment process is false.
