Asbury Revival Continues To Go Viral, Beating Mainstream Ratings For Demonic Performances
Did you know that the Asbury Revival reportedly netted more viewers than Sam Smith’s demonic performance at the 2023 Grammys?
If you haven’t heard about the beautiful movement happening at Asbury University in Kentucky, you’ve likely seen clips of it or a headline or two as they go viral on social media. Million Voices shared our own clip about the revival across social media, and it’s already gone viral for us too.

“Currently, Asbury University in Kentucky is experiencing its 14th day of revival, which was sparked by the Holy Spirit’s outpouring during a routine chapel service!” Million Voices shared earlier this month. “Since its beginning, busloads of students from approximately 30 colleges have arrived to participate in these spirit-filled services. Multiple universities and towns worldwide are breaking out into revivals. How incredibly refreshing it is to see SO MANY young people moving to embrace the fullness and glory of God…globally!”

Even traditionally progressive outlets, such as the Atlantic, are singing high praise. “I live 20 minutes from Asbury and have spent nine days there since the revival began, and I see a paradox at play. The event has gone viral online—on TikTok, the hashtag #asburyrevival has more than 100 million views and counting. But its appeal is actually its physicality and simplicity,” Thomas Lyons wrote for the outlet. “In a time of factionalism, celebrity culture, and performance, what’s happening at Asbury is radically humble. And it gives me great hope for the future of American Christianity.”
