Ancient Paths

The prophet Jeremiah cries out to his fractured nation and tells them all is not well. Saying there is peace when deep brokenness exists only brings superficial healing. The ONLY path to true Shalom is a return to the perpetual and eternal ways (ancient) our Father God has revealed to us. To do this we must stop along our daily journey, intentionally seek out the path the Father has set before us, and humbly walk with God along the way.

Jerimiah 6:14,16

PROBLEM

[14]They have healed the wound of my people lightly,
saying, ‘Peace, peace,’
when there is no peace.

SOLUTION

[16]Thus says the LORD:
“Stand by the roads, and look,
and ask for the ancient paths,
where the good way is; and walk in it,
and find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
