Just when we thought 2020 couldn’t get any more challenging, we’ve landed on the other side of November 3rd without a decisive win for the president’s seat. Voter fraud was unfortunately anticipated, discovered, and now under investigation in states that will eventually determine the leader of our nation for the next four years.
Personally, I was optimistic for election results by Wednesday morning. I don’t like to wait any more than the next person – it goes against our nature and culture to practice patience. However, we are presently finding ourselves in election “overtime” where patience is necessary, and our prayers are essential!

With Spiritual Awakening Comes Spiritual Warfare

While this election battle continues to be waged in the natural, our greatest offense for the fight is in the Spirit! Prayer is the catalyst to every best strategy as God is the Way-Maker, and we activate faith into every situation through prayer, agreeing with His Word.
“Even from eternity I am He, and there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it?” says the Lord (Isaiah 43:13).
We want His election outcome! We are asking for blind eyes to be opened and deaf ears to hear the truth. Reportedly, 7.6 million more evangelicals voted in this election compared to 2016. That’s 43.2 million Christian voices, making the Church’s voter turn-out historical! This is evidence of spiritual awakening! But with that, awakening comes spiritual warfare.

No Apathy Nor Retreat

In II Kings 13:14-19, Elisha presented Joash, King of Israel, the prospect of defeating the Arameans at Aphek. Elisha ordered him to “Take the arrows–strike the ground,” to which King Joash responded by hitting the ground only three times and stopping. Elisha reproved. Only striking the ground thrice was symbolic of Joash’s apathy towards his enemy. This cost him in the battle with Aram.

We cannot allow apathy nor retreat to be found in us, but rather a willingness to fight to the end!

“God is strong, and He wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels” (Ephesians 6:10-12 MSG).

What now?

Please pray with us for the justice of God to be served, that all corruption be uncovered, and for the innocent to be defended. We also ask that all legal ballots be rightly counted, and any illegal ballots will be found and discarded.

Thank you for using your voice, staying prayerful, and keeping engaged with us to the end!
