Holiness Is Not Earned

Pause to Pray - Week 1: Holiness - Day 4

Let’s all lean in together in the prayer below:

God said, “You shall be holy (set apart) because I am holy.” (Lev. 19:2; 1 Peter 1:15-16).

“For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time” (Heb. 10:10).

Holiness is not earned; it is who we already are because of what God says, fulfilled for all time in Jesus Christ.
You cannot make unholy that which He says is holy; you cannot make unclean that which He says is clean.

Pray for deeper revelation and a living out of our personal and corporate holiness.
