Key Scripture: Ex. 3:7 – God is aware and intimately acquainted with the cries of His people.
He experiences affliction and suffering WITH us because He is the Compassionate One (which means “to suffer WITH”). We can draw consolation and comfort that God hears and sees; our cries draw Him near (see Psalm 34:17-19) and He is arising to deliver us from the taskmasters who oppress us.
Ps. 73:28 – the nearness of God.
Ex. 34:6 – The LORD declaring His nature to Moses
Isa. 53:3 – He (Yeshua) is acquainted with (yada) our grief.
We sense we are in a NOW moment where God is saying, “NOW I will arise…I will set him in the safety [yesha: salvation] for which he longs.” (Ps. 12:5; Isa. 33:7-10).
- Isa. 52:10 “The LORD has bared His holy arm in the sight of all the nations, That all the ends of the earth may see the salvation of our God.”
