Rev. Franklin Graham called upon Christians, Monday, to pray for our former President Donald Trump over “politically motivated” attacks by the left, Breitbart reported.

“We need to pray for our country and where it is headed. The left in Washington and across the country just can’t get their fill of attacking Donald Trump. They are so paranoid of him,” Graham told his social media followers. “The onslaught against him is continual. There’s no question, the media and the left manipulated the last election, and they are scared to death of Donald Trump’s possible return.”

Graham noted that despite the media running negative stories about Trump “night after night,” any potential charges against him from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg are “definitely politically motived.”

He asked Christian across America to “pray specifically” for the former President.

“hat God’s hand would be upon him, protect him, and direct him in every step he takes—and that God’s will be done,” Graham noted. “We need to work together to strengthen this nation—not divide and destroy it.”

His comments come just days after Trump said he would likely be arrested over an alleged hush money scheme that took place in 2006. Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan has clarified that due to the statute of limitations, there is no legal reason for Bragg to arrest Trump.
