A Norfolk Southern train carrying vinyl chloride, hydrogen chloride, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethlyhexyl acrylate and isobutylene, all of which are toxic to humans, plants, and animals, crashed on Feb. 3, 2023 in the town of East Palestine, Ohio. These chemicals are leaching in the waterways surrounding the town, which feeds into rivers and other water systems throughout almost the entirety of the eastern U.S.

Residents of East Palestine have been dealing with the physical and mental consequences of Norfolk Southern’s crash ever since, all while getting no help whatsoever from the federal government — who explicitly exist to serve We The People.

President Joe Biden and the ignorant masses employed within his administration have refused to send financial and physical support to residents of the town, and are openly lying about the short and long-term consequences of the crash. Instead, Biden decided to fly to Ukraine, cuddle with comedian-turned-political leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and give them more of the money that YOU paid him in the form of your taxes.

Mayor of East Palestine Trent Conaway ripped apart Biden and his revolting, disrespectful, and downright evil ignorance during an appearance on Fox News. “That was the biggest slap in the face,” Conaway told Jesse Watters. “That tells you right now he doesn’t care about us. He can send every agency he wants to, but I found out this morning that he was in Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there and not to us…on President’s Day in our country, so I’m furious.”

Conaway is not alone in his emotional response to Biden’s complete abandonment of his duty to the American people. We are furious too, but there are small glimmers of hope within this tremendously heartbreaking situation.
